Frequent Walker This is the LP version, electric, Fuzz pedal dominant throughout the song. Frequent Walker is a song I wrote about drug use and the way I was destroying my life. It might be hard to understand that from the lyrics, but that is how I wrote them. I finally broke free of the depression that kept me on the edge of suicide for so many years, but the depression is a harder enemy to fight as most of us no. You have to latch onto reasons to stay here and make them important enough to stay… In any case, constant drug use is not the answer, even though through a large part of my life I was sure drugs and alcohol offered the answers I wanted. Honestly the best help was in rehab, AA talking to other addicts and councilors who had been addicts and found their way out. There are ways out. This was done in my own studio with a fuzz FX. I re-worked the song a few years later and did an acoustic version of it. I’ll post that some time.
